General Information
1What is Detoy Family Services?
We are a support organization dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through personalized care, resources, and community programs.
2Where are you located?
We provide support for Inland Regional Center and San Gabriel Regional Center. We also offer remote consultations and in-home services where applicable.
3What are your operating hours?
Our office is open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Weekend appointments are available upon request.
4How We Help with IHSS
We assist our clients in navigating and accessing In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) to ensure they receive the care and support they need to live safely and independently at home. Our team helps with the entire application process, including eligibility screening, documentation preparation, and submitting forms to the county. We also provide guidance during the home assessment and advocate for appropriate hours based on each client's unique needs. Beyond approval, we support clients in managing ongoing IHSS services, including caregiver coordination and compliance with program requirements.
5Omnitrans Assistance
We help clients apply for and navigate Omnitrans transportation services, including reduced fare programs and Access paratransit, ensuring they can travel safely and independently.
6DMV ID Services
We assist clients in obtaining or renewing their California DMV identification cards, helping gather required documents and complete applications.
7Medical Applications
We guide clients through the application process for Medi-Cal and other medical programs, ensuring timely access to healthcare coverage.
8Housing Programs
We connect clients with affordable housing resources and help complete applications for supportive or low-income housing opportunities.
9Rent Assistance
We support clients in applying for emergency or ongoing rent assistance to prevent eviction and housing instability.
10Mortgage Assistance
We help homeowners apply for mortgage relief programs and navigate available state or county resources to avoid foreclosure.
11Utility Assistance Programs
We assist clients in accessing programs like LIHEAP to reduce energy bills and avoid utility shut-offs.

We act as advocates for our clients, helping them understand their rights, communicate with agencies, and resolve service issues.

15CalFresh Assistance

We help clients keep track of medical appointments, arrange transportation, and ensure they follow prescribed care plans.
